Only cash games are dealt at West Virginia poker rooms. The other is only open three days every week. None of these West Virginia poker rooms are open daily. These are located at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races, Mardi Gras Casino and Wheeling Island. We’ll be back for a couple day recharge and look forward to it.There are three open poker rooms in West Virginia. We used the bar service and found the drinks good, the prices decent, and the waitresses pleasant and available. The coffee bar/ pastry shop had yummy desserts and various coffees again the prices were reasonable. The price was decent and the portions large and everything was made to order. Throughout the day they served hamburgers,chicken tenders,wings,shrimp,sandwiches/wraps and more. They had a buffet breakfast for 9.99 that had everything including an omelette station.

It had a nice variety of food and we enjoyed it. Food- we ate at the buffet, high point deli and the coffee pastry shop. I have to think managements doing an excellent job because I believe what so many companies forget is that customer service makes or breaks a company. I want to say each one looked for a way to make our visit better. I want to say that over the couple days we were there, I can’t think of one employee that did not go out of their way for me or my husband. If I had a criticism it would be to install a bathroom fan. The room was also quiet from hall noise and neighboring rooms. The towels were of good quality and there were the basics,shampoo,shower gel and soap. The higher floor rooms offer either a river view or a city view. It was large and the bed was firm but extremely comfortable.( I normally love a soft bed) The room was very clean and had a safe, no coffee maker but there were coffee carts on every floor at every elevator. There was always a waitress there to get a drink and I found the prices affordable. A good selection of slots, clean facilities, and excellent service! I can’t think of one employee I ran across who wasn’t exceptional! The cleaning people kept the gaming area and restrooms spotless. We both like to gamble and really enjoyed our time. My husband and I had a couple day get away and stayed here two nights to gamble, R&R, and to refresh.
